Mines leaked since the day I bought it. It holds a tow strap, tow rope and empty beer cans.

On my Gen 1, it holds a stock battery perfect. Doubling up the batteries helps hold off the check engine light when heavy winching....

On mine it gets pretty hot in there, makes good grilled samich's but the beer is piass warm and lots of head on it lol! Don't really use it for anything though but a tow strap.

Get some dry bags. They will keep everything dry regardless of how wet the inside of the box gets. I have two big ones and a spare belt in mine and have never had anything inside the bags get wet
