Looking at getting a 2015/16 quad. Have and sled and kx250, thinking I should get a quad to fill in. Plus I would like to plow the drive way seeing how we are moving to a large acrage this summer as well as use it for hunting and trail rides. been looking at Arctic cat 550-700 or maybe a 650 cam am. Have been on a older AC 400 that my friend bought and have to say I liked it. Lots of low-end power for rock crawling, and could tell it would have been great for plowing with the low-end power.
So what do you all think? Thanks for any info in advance!

Love my 2012 can am but it seems like the newer ones are having more and more issues that they shouldn't be. Normally Id say can am but I can't anymore. Do lots of research.

My advice is to find a new or hardly used 2012 can am 800 max xt. Put a rad relocate and some real 28" mud tires and don't look back. Well look back often as you will be the tow truck that pulls every one out.

Yes. Mine has been on for a year lol. A message comes on for a few seconds when you first start it then goes out.

Not necessarily. There's a dude that advertises on Kijiji that will do anything BUDS related for you for like 20 or 25 bucks. Don't even have to take the unit off the trailer.

I have had really great luck with Arctic Cat. I have a 2010 H1 700 quad, a 2011 Prowler xtz 1000 side by side and am picking up a new 2015 Xr 700 quad this Saturday. All machines have been purchased from T&T. Best service hands down. Arctic Cat also has some awesome promotions on right now as well. I got my Xr 700 at 1.99% interest and 4 years factory warranty came with it as well. Everyone has there preference of machines. For me it's Cat over Can Am

09 cat 550 only issue was the 4x4 actuator covered on warranty. Been a great unit. Looks like hell cause the wife uses trees to turn.

14 wildcat trail. No issues.

Cat has been good to me

Just my experience: I've owned a 2008 Can Am 500 XT (good power for it's size, a few issues with it), a 2009 Polaris Sportsman 500 (that quad was total junk), a 2011 Cat 450i (which has been bulletproof with 5600 km on it), and last year I bought a 2014 Wildcat Trail XT700 (which has amazing power for it's engine displacement, no issues thus far). A lot of folks are rough on Cat, but I've had great luck with my units, and I haven't been kind to them, nor have I bought or needed extended warranty - these machines are tough. My dealer (T&T in Bonnyville) is the best I've dealt with over the years - they are top notch in sales, parts, and service.
