Hi there

new to quadding ans looking at getting a quad or a cpl quads for my wife and i to go quadding.

the one we borrowed this past summer had power steering and it was nice and smooth.......i see that it is highly recommended.

i think getting two units with power steering would be too much $$ for us.. Im wondering about how difficult it would be for my wife to have a quad without power steering for trail riding.

I would love to hear any input on this.

Thanks

JMO,.. power steering will be much more forgiving for her hitting the bumps and whatnot,.. longer rides she will be much less fatigued and less deterred from riding because of sore shoulders and arms.

The bigger the quad, the more you'll appreciate the power steering. It's especially nice when running in 4x4 mode or descending hills (especially rocky ones). The dampening effect when hitting unexpected logs and rocks is a wicked bonus too.

As AWTY mentioned, if you want your wife to ride with you often, you might want to consider giving her the machine with power assist.

What is your budget? $3000 per quad would be Hondas no power steering but still fun,$5000 per quad definitely gets you power steering, Yamaha Grizzlys etc.
