Whenever I'm going thru powder snow I think snow getting in my air box cause my grizzly won't idle and at low rpm it sounds like it's missing

Check your spark plug boot. Gets snow around it then melts and starts missing. Mine used to do that till I sealed the boot.

Toyboy, I am not sure what your running for a machine or if you meant at start up but but the heat from the engines of mine keep any snow building up around the spark plugs.

Going to snorkels is not going to eliminate snow from getting into your air box, it will greatly reduce it and as I mentioned putting panty hose over any air intake ports helps prevent snow from getting in but sometimes you have to stop and clean snow off the covers

I don't recall how covered up the air box is on the 660, but you'd be a lot more likely to take in snow through snorkels than through the stock air box. Depending how you run them, snorkels can be a real pain in the but too when it comes to maintneance or field repairs.
