looking at buying a house just off 633 and township rd 542a. can I ride from there to the trails in the ditch with a atv and my snowmobile.

Before the whole political shakeup with the PC's and such, we were close to getting sections of 633 officially grandfathered for OHV use by the minister of transportation. "Someone" on the county's council has a hate on for OHV's and has since gone directly to the new minister of transportation to ensure access to OHV's remains officially restricted. This guy is a real snake - from what I understand he spoke with two faces when approached by enthusiasts and haters during elections and ultimately did what he pleased. That said, law enforcement in the area seems to be pretty forgiving as long as you riding responsibly and not being a nuisance or danger.

I'm terrible with names, so I can't say for sure. I applied to be on the trail committee but was rejected since I'm not a resident of the county. Even if he is the someone and even if he is gone (no idea), getting the current government to re-allow OHV traffic on 633 might prove near impossible.
