Hey everyone, so this is my first time purchasing an ATV, and it wasn't an offer i could give up. It may or may not have been smart, but maybe you can help me?

I purchased an '05 Arctic Cat 650 H1 LE.
Mint condition, no scratches, no nothing.

600km on it, and we know the guy. He does NOT abuse anything he has, its only been driven slowly around the yard (he's older, and loaded).

He is the first owner, and he services the ATV often, gets everything done from the dealer.

It runs new, nothing we could find was wrong with it. It honestly felt like it was brand-new.

The price he sold it for was $6000.

Nothing is wrong with the machine, tires hardly even worn out at all, basically brand new. Was this a good buy?

Also, how are Arctic Cats? main use is going to be around the farm, and some trails later on. Not too extreme right now.

I think you paid a little much for it, arctic cats are awesome machines! I have had an 05 500 and nothing ever went wrong, and I currently have a 07 650 H1 and it runs awesome as well! Hope yours does to, good luck with it.

Hey welcome aboard the Arctic Cat gang! i have had 3 650s and loved them
the cat is build heavy duty so she may not be soft and plush but you can work the butt off it and it will keep going...n going......- i love the primer on the carb makes those winter starts a breeze, as well the 05 has the bigger racks that help protect the fenders and headlites...

we sell more arctic cats than any other brand...!

as far as the price...to buy a new atv that size your looking about 8500 plus freight plus tax...and any other accessories are on top of that... 6 k now will buy u a new 350 with no extras...

theres is always someone that will say - you paid too much- however i believe to buy a new for that price is a fair deal, plus if you know the person its even a more comforting deal...

if you have any questions or requests let me know, i would be more than happy to help you out!

hey Terry I have a question for ya.....I just bought a 08 AC 650 H1 with 9 miles on it.....yes 9 miles.....been told that the front diffs blow because the spider gear pin is not welded correctly.......I have heard from many people the AC is allowing warranty on parts only (even after it is off warranty)but will only do this after the front diff blows......my dealer here says there is nothing wrong with the 08 diffs and why would AC warranty when warranty has expired......what is your out take on this issue? I think Im going to tear the diff apart and reweld the pin before it goes.......been told something like $1400 or $1800 (cant remember exact dollar figure but it is more than a few hours of my time lol) when the diff goes boom!

sorry for Hi jacking thread......

oh and littleark.....you were in the same boat as me.....I bought a new quad for a used price.....mine had 9 miles but paid top of the blue book value at $5000.....but got a winch and plow for free......guys say I paid to much for a 08 650 H1 (last month)......but where could I buy a new (9 miles) quad for $5000 with a winch and plow????? I was happy with my deal and if your happy with your deal, that is all that matters!

sounds like ya paid a little much, I just bought a brand new 2011 550 efi with power steering and a 3000 lb winch for $7000 tax in. The 550 efi basically replaced the 650 h1, I do believe even a little more hp due to the fuel injection in the 550. However the 650 is good quad, never heard anything bad about them.
