So I went and bought a used m800 turbo. It runs great and it pulls hard. I just don’t know much about them. I am running 7lbs of boost using half pump gas and half a aviation gas. Just because that’s what the guy told me. Is there anywhere that I can get more Information about the following:
1. Regular turbo maintenance.
2. how do I know what type and what octane to use at different boost settings and how does elevation play into that equation.
3. I notice there are different types of av gas. What should I know about that.

thanks in advance.

Not real familiar with the boondocker from that year

octane will be relevant to boost and elevation. Silber has a generic chart on there site

by different types of av I assume you mean race fuel. There’s is lots out there so it’s all personal preference. Av is cheap enough you can just run extra for insurance

Two types of av gas are 100 and 100LL. Both are 100 octane. The 100LL is low lead and dyed blue, and the 100 is high lead and dyed green. Run low lead preferably, though "low" is a subjective term. Still a fair bit of lead in it. Lead tends to foul plugs and exhaust sensors. Other than the lead content the fuel specs are pretty much the same.
