I bought a 2013 M1100 turbo with some goodies. Don't know much about this beast, but drove a turbo Nytro for many years. What are some things to watch for or good mods to do?

OSP engine support, OSP jack shaft support( clutch alignment first). Lots of vents, evo brv valve, evo intercooler fan, cold air intake, then look into boost tubes, full exhaust if not already on, ecm flash, clutching

Talk to white knuckle in Lloydminster or Dons in Wainwright they can be pretty cool when done up right

Terry at T&T in Bonnyville has been running a turbo 1100 for a few years now and raves about it. I suggest calling him

pretty much hop onto Speedwerxs site and add everything to the cart haha. But Echo cycle in Edmonton has done up quite a few of them and know what runs great.

Stock chain & gears are weak links on the 2012 / 13 with power adders - I ended up going to a C3 belt drive. Horsepower increases can be had for minimal cost. PM me if you want to go over some setups.

Belt temps may be the biggest issue with these sleds I.did the updates plus primary work and dropped my primary temps by a considerable amount..I can't recall exactly It's been a while I think it was around 75 degrees or more.I am running 300 hp and no belt issues.(of course I have added other equiptment as well)

In my head
Do the 2015 jackshaft and engine mount update kit. Makes a big difference in alignment, drive train strength and belt temps. Run the latest updated Cat chain and gears or go full HYVO setup. Will also strengthen and improve drivetrain. Twister Torsional kit for secondary.

I too like the EVO BRV. They now have two choices. I went with the Speedwerx air intake and ditched the entire air intake system, filter, filter box, airbox, piping, the whole works.

I tried to install a mbrp trail can and it appears to be rubbing on the oil line. The sled came with a 3" straight pipe which is too loud for my liking. It looks like a 5" diameter can would fit ok, or I have to reroute the oil line, which I don't want to do. What's a good can to get that's not too loud and is less than 5" in diameter?

Jaws Performance. Sounds great. Mine came with MBRP when I bought it and it wasn’t rubbing. I have the full Jaws system now and it sounds great. Good tone and not too loud.

Ok. I'll try the jaws. It's around 5" , so it should fit. I think the reason why the mbrp didn't fit was the previous owner installed a manual tensioner which pushed the oil line out a couple inches.

I have been the Evo distributor for Canada since before they were a retail company. Was involved in much of the r&d of their bolt on parts and turbo kits, and built many 1100t monsters when I owned White Knuckle, including three 300+ hp ones of my own. I stock pretty much all 1100t Evo parts in Lloydminster. Evo has always been the benchmark in 1100t mountain performance as they test and tune at 8000' in Colorado at their shop. If you have any questions about anything 1100t I can most likely help, not many have spent the time I have in the guts of an 1100t. I'm not on here very much so best to email me at gene@allgo.ca or message me on my All Go Customs fb page.
FYI, White Knuckle was sold to the local Yami dealer about a year and a half after I left so you won't get any 1100t info at WKM anymore. But the 1100t crowd is still out there. I've flashed 7 ecus and sold a ton of bolt on parts in the last month or so. Bang for your buck is hard to beat.

Going to a Team clutch setup brings down belt heat substantially and has a lot smoother engagement. if your having belt problems i would first try and align your clutches with the clutch tool.

I'm really liking the m1100 so far. Great throttle response, easy to throw around compared to my nytro, great suspension.

Anyone install a 9-11 cover? I ordered the special tool from cat to remove the jam nut, but I've read this can be kinda tricky to remove because of the green loctite that cat uses. Anyone else have success removing this nut?

Use a torch to soften the loctite.
