This may be in a different thread but I've had a hard time finding it so my apologies, is anyone out there running a EVO BRV? I have a 2013 M1100T only upgrade engine wise is a Bikeman Powder Lite muffler and I just ordered a Evo BRV, anyone have any feedback on these? Good and bad?

The EVO BRV works very well. That said, it does require periodic maintenance (clean & lube). I've had one on my M1100T pretty much since new, heading into it's 4th season

As far as installation goes is it pretty straight forward? I heard you have to remove the fuel tank.....? I hope not
The fuel tank should be removed for an easier install, and pay special attention that the lines have no sharp bends (if you kink them from the intake manifold the valve won't work properly). It is an easy install.

Sold about 150 of them in the last 4 years being the distributor for Western Canada. With increased boost with flashes etc the stock $1.99 one has trouble holding the extra pressure. The Evo one is a nice riding improvement over stock because of better control and the ability to hold boost. Coupled with other Evo parts like the cold air intake and larger intake elbow makes a huge difference over stock in on/off throttle response. There is a lot more info on this sled on some other forums but if you have questions about other Evo parts or about the 1100 itself shoot me a message. I've had 4 personally and we don't sell any off the floor without some easy Evo bolt goodies including a reflash for mountain riders we do in house. The brv install instructions are under "manuals" on Evo's website FYI.
