My son broke his limiter straps and stabbed his track. So for a track, front skid shock, limiter straps and a anti-stab kit is 2200 dollars. If I could buy one! No track available. Discontinued. Thing is. ... the sled is pretty decent. It runs like a top and is fast. I just redid the entire motor top to bottom. It has about 160 miles on it. We went riding and one sled put on 160 so it would be about the same. If I could put a modern skid under it with a 15" wide track I would do this. Like a used Pro 163 skid for 500 and a new take off track for 400. But my tunnel is only 14 wide so I would have to change it out. :(

I don't know how to do this and don't have the place to do it either.
Anyone know what my options are?

Or be willing to do the job for me if they knew what they were doing and knew it could be done?

I'm at a loss. It's too good of a sled to park it or part it out. Such a shame.

Paid 4500. Couple hundred in extras. Melted the motor due to crank seal failure. Spent 2500 on new motor including crank etc etc. New low comp head for 91 fuel instead of 110 octane. Has twin pipes and starts 2 or 3 pulls.

Dunno what to do? Feel bad for my son because all his buddies are ripping around and all I have for him to ride is my snow bike which he can't. He's 13.

Help.

I just made a call to a guy I've known for quit a while. He forgot more than I know. I tried to call him before I posted but didn't think I'd get ahold of him today. Still don't have anything solid as he is digging around.

I'd still like to hear what you guys think. I'm still fairly screwed at this point.

Try Tracks Canada, Mountain Magic, or Specialty Sleds.

Sorry for prematurely cluttering up the site. Lol.

It's handled! Ken @ MM is bringing me in a brand new Camoplast. Then he is going to show me how to cut it down. I'm going to take him my front Fox shock and he's going to fix it. I've known him for 14 years and has always been very helpful to me. Going the extra mile. He basically said whatever I need we'll get it handled whether he works on it or guides me through the process to get this sled back to where my son will be ripping again. He's also going to dial in the suspension to suit a 105 pound jockey.

So if you guys ever need anything, don't hesitate to call Ken @ Mountain Magic.
