Where does the snow get into these machines?What is my options to seal off to keep snow out of the intake?

Seal the hole thing, mine was real bad right where I'm pointing

Also add some 2 in frog skins for extra air
Makes a difference, if vents are plugged up, will suck through all the cracks and other places

The 16's and 17's you just need to check and see if there are any obvious leakage points. They were not prone to issues, it is the updated ascender chassis that has issues, where Tex noted and my post in the ascender section along with others (skegpro a while back). Take a look and report back with picutres on any potential areas, between my riding group of 3 we put over 6000 miles combined on two sleds and a third with 1500 miles with no issues.

The Proclimbs are most vulnerable at the seal. Replace it every couple years. I also built mine up with some foam weather stripping and keep the junction coated in dielectric grease.
