I wonder if the guys who snow checked already will get their sleds this fall? Technically Cat might say they are already sold and it's not a "new" sale.

Here comes the Ski-Doo 850T Alpha, "a little tech swap." Wonder how the T-motion is going to work with a single rail? ;)

BRP has already gone that route but chose the T motion instead. Their bad I guess or was it? They have sold a chit load of Summits since 2013.

Not sure if they ever patented their design but someone like skegpro maybe could search it out? He seems to be able to find this stuff

They basically patented the triangle overstructure which aids in a rider forward position.
Not sure how this doesn't apply to Polaris or Yamaha.......

Polaris has 4 posts that go up to the center section. Skidoo and Arctic both have 6. The mounting is also way different, the polaris chassis ties into the tunnel by the bulk head, not way back like the skidoo and cat. I'm sure that's how Polaris isn't involved with this.

It looks like both companies were aware of BRP's patent, Polaris went another way to not infringe on it, Cat just straight up copied it.

Can you find out the single rail design from BRP or maybe they just tried it and didn't patent it?

So anyone here that snowchecked an alpha what are the dealers saying?

Back in the spring l inquired a little but the trade value of my 19 was hurtin. Cat hadn't even given the dealer any brochures for the 21s. I still have two full years of warranty, more than a 21 would have.
