Had to pull my primary off on my 2015 HCR.
I had issues with the clutch puller. Thinking it was the wrong one as it started cutting threads on it where the tip entered the crank shaft.
Using the thread gauge. A 20tpi fits. Which leaves me with either 7/16" -20 or 1/2"-20
7/16 is too small. 1/2 feels too big.

I tried a metric thread gauge.
1.25 fit nice. Leaving me with M11 x 1.25 which is too small a diameter and M8 x 1.25 and M10 x 1.25 which are even smaller.

Anyone know the correct tap size I need to fix these threads?

This is the bolt that holds that clutch on...

Also I reccomend a stubby thread chaser in that situation.

M12x 1.25
