Hi guys,

Doing a bit of maintenance before winter really sets in and I noticed that one of the exhaust port on my M8000 is quite rough compared to the other side. I believe this is the casting that is rough.

I was wondering if that makes a difference in the air flow through that cylinder? Should I try and smooth it with a dremel?

The sled always had an irregular WOT rpm and bogging on take off but, I think that might be more related to clutches and rich injection.

Thanks!

Edit: sorry for the upside down picture, not sure what happened...

We used to do that with our triples the stock edges were bad and it made a difference with setting idle do not use a Dremel get a set of fine curved files you have more control you can make a mess of your ports with a dremel
