I am on a trip in the backcountry, having small bog off idle, what color wire is the TSS. I was going to take throttle block apart and unplug, but afraid to mess up washer for throttle pin. Not close to dealer.

I do have and use a tether, and understand the purpose of safety switch.

Thinking i could cut wire outside of throttle block tape it up. If it doesnt work i will solder back when i get back to my house.

Thanks

I disassembled the throttle block, and reused that lock washer you mentioned, I was afraid of reusing it also, but it works fine and been over a year. Cut one of the wires, it don't matter which one and reassemble.

I tried finding a video on YouTube for you. No dice.
I just did mine on my 2015 HCR, and cant recall the color.
But it's pretty obvious once the throttle block is open.
Two wires are for your thumb warmer. Those are easy to identify. Then your kill switch wires. And your TPS wires.
Unplug and go.
