So I have injection oil leaking down the face of the chaincase. I suspect it is the silicon seal cat uses. Has anyone else had this issue?
you over filling it with oil ?

Ummm, there isn't an o-ring. Only a silicon seal.Ya they can leak. Easy fix Clode.
Drain the oil and pull the cover. Remove the O-ring and wipe it clean. Then here is the trick and it will never leak again.
Get your self a tube of "the right stuff" from Napa. Its a high quality oil resistant silicon.
After a quick clean of the O-ring surface, apply a few dabs on the surface to help hold the O-ring in place. Then give a LIGHT coating over the whole surface of the O-ring. Then put the cover back on and torque to spec.
If the O-ring is not torn or damage, its ok to reuse.
Hookup pump hose and fill up and good to go.
The other thing i do is before i disconnect the oil hose i use a hose crimp and pinch the hose near the tank, as close as possible so no air get's into the oil system(pump). Once i hookup the hose i top the oil up and simply remove the crimp. But fill the oil tank first so the air bubble will push out.

there is a rubber plug for the chain case on mine to fill does not fit tight maybe yours is leaking
check the fuse too
Have you ever previously had the injection oil tank off?
