Found I had a cracked right side mounting bracket on my 2013 heat exchanger. 4 hours to get out. Had a friend weld it up and 4 hours back in. Major disassembly to get at all the rivets and bolts holding this thing in. Had to remove primary and secondary in order to get the pto plate off to get at two rivets and one carriage head bolt. Fuel tank off, skid off, and track out to get all the rivets around the perimeter. Whole thing came out the bottom. Easiest time I ever had changing back two plugs.

How did you notice the crack? Was it leaking coolant? I have a ‘13 Sno Pro. I have a exchanger under tunnel as well.

Temp light came on on trail at chapel and put scratchers down. Didn’t help. Stopped on trail, took off hood and checked. Needed to add 1.5 water bottles. Drove down trail to parking lot and checked again and was down another 1.5 bottles. About 700 ml per time. Had antifreeze dripping off underside in trailer. Got it back home and level was still up. Let thaw out in a heated garage and nothing after ice melted off. Put a coolant system pressure tester on filler. When under pressure leak appeared.
