Was out over the weekend and I found that anytime I put any more power than 3/4 throttle to it it felt like it would blow a belt. Shut it down, pull the side panel off and found that the belt was still in good condition. This happened a couple times but it doesn’t make any grinding noise like you would think you would hear out of the chain case. Searched the Internet and could only find one thread saying it is the reverse actuator not holding in place. Has anyone else ever come across this?

Not a super common problem but Have for sure seen it a few times in the shop. I would for sure take off the chain case cover and see the gears, i have seen where it has ground down half the gear and doesn't engage properly and will give a very similar feeling.

Do you have jackshaft brace and engine brace installed? Bearing behind secondary maybe bad? Secondary clutch may be running when opened all the way, issue inside chaincase? A few common things to check. Also check front edge of rails to make sure they are not rubbing against inside track lugs.

Thanks for the input. I’m leaning more to either a clutch issue or reverse issue. Bearings were done not that long ago.

my buddy had that exact issue on his 1100. anytime he would get into it, it would feel like it was just kicking to neutral or slipping. bought a whole new primary and it didn't do anything. tore into the chain case and found the reverse gear wasn't staying and was walking out. deleted the reverse and solved the issue
