What affect does the pipe temp sensor actually have on the sled? I've had the engine code for bad sensor for 2+ years and haven't noticed anything different. I was hoping to install an o2 sensor in my SLP pipe for my auto tune setup. Can I just install a resistor for the temp sensor and use the existing port? Also does anybody know if an o2 sensor would fit that port? Nowhere near my sled to even look

I know i had that pipe sensor fail like 3 times total on two different slp setups, one on an 11 m8 and another on my 14 m8, every time the sled ran like absolute ****, verry boggy, hard starting etc. So maybe your code is not the sensor fault. Since ive ran speedwerx setups i havent had one fail

yeah it seems to run just fine, it rips. I have tried another sensor with no change so ill have to look into the wiring and make sure all of that is ok. could just be a crappy connector

Ya definitely could be wiring or connector, mine definitely had an effect on performance when it failed
