I had one for 2 days and it flat out works. If you ride a Proclimb your instantly a better rider. It is so easy to ride, I have rode the 850 Doo and feel there is little to no difference for ease of riding. If I had to choose I would say the AC is easier just because I rode it in much tougher conditions. The only things I saw were minor, clutch rubbing on the foam, and the right front panel tab was slightly deformed from heat. If you installed a can and remove the foam they would be solved. The oil light came on, it was water in the connection we cleaned it out added dielectric grease, repaired. What I see for improvements are Canada sled parts steering bushing, better front bumper, more venting because you cant have too much, taller riser, cooker can, both personal preference. I would really like to try the post forward kit on this machine also, I believe it may make a big difference. Is there clutching and gearing gains to be had for sure but it works pretty darn good right out of the box. The production sleds are getting light weight drive and jack shafts, a removal of over 6 pounds of rotating mass, again huge gains. Oil consumption is significantly less, fuel is improved but in deep power to the bar it will use similar amounts as the old Suzuki,or any other brand. Lower rpm or on the trail will be the biggest gains. This turned in to more of a ride report than a problem report but you can't report on whats not there.

Solid answer. Thanks. I have a ski doo 850 and am switching back to arctic cat next year. I think I'll go through and di electric grease everything on it. I had to do it on my 2016 m8000

In my head
6 Lbs of rating mass is indeed huge!! That's a significant addition to HP at the track, not to mention what that means for throttle response and hole shot. I built a sled years back and focused on engine efficiencies and rotating mass. Was really quite amazing the difference it makes. Made an old sled feel real snappy. Almost always got the hole shot! Lots of people focus strictly on engine HP, but loss of rotating mass does have a profound effect on performance. Lots of technical data available to prove it.

Thanks for sharing. Good information for sure.

I forgot to mention the clutching was very smooth it engages at 3000 rpm and works great, the engine exhaust valves are linear you can,t really hear them opening like the Suzuki.

There are guys on snowest that are claiming over 800 miles of trouble free-hard riding. A great sign

Mountain guy. Those cats are in your blood. I know they are in mine. Lol. I almost bought one yesterday. Going turbo tho. And keeping my Doo just in case lol. Are you riding much with your son. Or has he left you behind in the dust. ?

Yes I may have a tinge of green in my blood but the 18 is the real deal. I will most likely buy a 19 model as I still have a pristine 16. Have you rode the 850? I liked that sled a lot, there are some growing pains but they will get worked out eventually. Research your turbo as they are all not created equal. For my son I haven't given him enough power yet to leave me in the dust but it wont be long. I will pm you my new phone number
