Hey guys

Just wondering what your thoughts were on going with a either a stage 2 SLP or Speedwerx. Has anyone had experience with both? or should I be looking at someone else's stage 2 kit?
I ride in the Golden, Fernie, and Revelstoke area with a 2016 M8000 limited

cheers

I have ran both stage 2 kits on the 800 ho and the speedwerx works better than slp, both are great products but speedwerx produces more power and their clutching is better, would recommend both, slp has nicer ceramic work in my opinion

I am running the Speedwerx stage 2 from Echo Cycle. Running stock clutching, works just great! Also running Echos mapping. Sled is snappy and loves to pull wheelies! Great at all elevations. Would recommend it for sure. Just be careful when rolling the sled. I melted the hood a little so put some heat wrap in the belly of the pipe. Probably similar issue with other pipes. The belly is Fat and works great!!

Do the Jaws Big Shark system and aggressive clutch set up. You won't be disappointed.

Speed werx has a nice pipe that you can quickly change a piece in the end for low or hogh elevation.

Id put my stage two speedwerx setup up against a jaws set up any day, and it doesn't sound obnoxiously loud while doing it

I have,( not stock quiet but not obnoxious) and would pick Jaws any day. It doesn't require reeds, timing key etc to make the same HP. Jaws is Canadian and has excellent top notch service. Speedwerx works good yes, but Greggs service is amazing.

I've had great luck with the jaws big shark on my proclimb. Had the slp on my last cat, the top end power was good but the mid range power was terrible

Speedwerx does not require reeds either nor a timing key, speedwerx customer service is top notch as well, email, phone and even text and have prompt replies

That was my only complaint from my previous slp kits, mid range power was very flat, thats the biggest difference ive noticed in the speedwerx is the mid range gains

Thought on their site it showed reeds, key etc included in kit is all I was getting at. Even if it did, the kit still works great, was just trying to point out the differences. It must have been a different kit I seen.

You can buy a full stage 2 kit if you like or you can just do exhaust, clutching and a fuel controller like on mine
