Any chance someone knows what this piece is for? Found it on my sled deck after driving back from Revy last night? Only sled on the deck was my '17 M8..? Looks like new on one side and some scuff marks on the other side like a nut or washer was against it maybe?

I highly recommend using the "BLUE" #243 loctite on the threaded shoulder screw and not red. If you ever had to replace the upper A-arm you will curse trying to get that apart and will most likely end up having to use heat. Not nice on your powder coated spindle.
Specifications are 23ftlbs torque and recommended blue loctite.

B.s Mike, ask my buddy sparky that used blue, it came apart

I have never had issues getting red back apart, it's all I use

It seems to me the red isn't as strong as 5 years ago, like it used to be

Will be keeping a close eye on it now! Had some blue loctite on there and it obviously didn't work, both done with red loctite now!

You can fit a regular nyloc nut in there. Use that and some loctite and be done with it.
