You could likely buy the sled and do the big bore for that price and that's about it. Pretty awesome sled for sure!!!

This is a good package, we are considering doing something simular. $17999 will get you proclimb 800 with carbon tank, carbon hood, boss seat, bdx rear skid, powderlites can. This will give you 430lb sled with full manufacturers warranty. trying to squeze the belt drive in there for the same price which will brng the sled to under 420lbs and put more power to the ground. hopefully we will have an example of one of these at the sled show, look for it in the White Knuckle Motorsports booth.

What about the big bore?.?.?... How can u compete with that and 1 year warranty... So what's the gain other than light weight?..

1. look into the warranty, you will not like what you see and find a shop that will do the warranty??? its not as easy as taking it to your local dealer. just do the research before you jump to conclusions about what you are getting.
2. 900 big bore on dyno in edmonton only make 12 mor hp than stock cat ( with aftermarket tune). take that for what it is worth, but unless your going to put up the 2 sleds and $800 in dyno time you will have to assume i am correct.
3.the belt drive drops 8lbs rotating mass and puts a much higher percrntage of the available power to the ground. i have 2500kms of proof, but if that is not enough why did polaris snowcheck 8 billion sleds this year, could be because of the weight and drive system. it certainly was not because of the ground breaking hp polaris makes.
point is, though the 900 bigbore sounds like magic the facts will support weight and drive system equally. just something to consider. cheers! plus if your mechanically inclined you could do this sled for less than the bdx sled in about 10 hours

Is 8 billion sleds snowchecked as accurate as the other numbers?

I thought we talked about this kind of thing just a few weeks ago?;)

So... if you're going to bash, explain what you think is bad about the warranty. Don't just say it's sketchy, explain.

btw, you're talking about making a sled that costs $1500 more, and has stock power.

I'd prefer to get that BDX sled without the BB, but all the same, they're essentially giving a BB for free compared to your price.

You make some cool SH**... but bashing on the other companies just makes you look bad man. Do I need to post that thread again???? :p

I don't really think he was bashing anyone. Just pointing out some things that people really need to consider when making their purchase.

I agree alot of people see the price and "holly what a deal". There are alot of other factors to consider. Not picking sides just saying.

Ok, here we go again! please highlight the bashing? aftermarket warranty's are shitty to deal with, dealers don't want to do the work when they have local customers waiting in line willing to pay for there fix and the after market warranty pays half the rate and you have to wait 30 days or more to get paid. List a dealer around who is willing to do that and I will sublet everyjob i get out to them. The rest of the posts are fact based. Yes the sled is $1500 more but no one in canada can go get that sled for less than that ( i know because i used to try and do it all the time) . I never bashed BDX once, they make good stuff. They have a good offering for guys in the US, and the odd guy in canada. We have a compariable offering for the canadians. Do they have to pay more, only if they want to. I am not going to apologize for putting the facts out on a public forum. If Jeff at BDX was at all worried about what sleds we are building in another country I am sure he may have voiced some concern. I have to spoken to him, he is ware of our offering, I have enough put him in touch with C3 for some carbon sftuffso h can make his offering even lighter if he so chose. If there is someone who feels i have bashed anyone, then by all means have at me. "you will always be measured against those around you who are better, when you are no longer measured you have made it to the top" KCC.

People deal with aftermarket warranties all the time. I know quite a few people with then on polaris sleds, and never heard them say "nobody will work on my sled". Maybe it'd different up there... I'm in CO, and can only speak for the people I've dealt with in the states. Both cat & polaris use aftermarket warranties... it's nothing new.
I guess if you showed me someone who has actually dealt with this particular warranty company & had a bad experience, I'd look at it as fact based instead of bashing... but I don't even know who the warranty provider is.

Boy... mike 270412 must be a real fan... 4 likes on the same post from the same guy... weird.

Either way, just like in the other thread, if you're going to cut on the competition (which is what you're doing, no matter how you slice it) be ready for it to make you look worse than you're trying to make them look. I explained this to you before, not trying to be a dik... it's just what it looks like.
