1998 powder special 600 problems

I just picked up a 98 powder special 600 efi it ever ran all last winter put new coil n it and some fresh fuel fires u on frt pull nd idles real good but when I go to drive it it will wind out the al of a sudden it will bog out and if I work the throttle abit it will catch again and wind out and then I will bog out again does this repetedly it has me stumped as my first efi sled

Does it have the fuel filters in the gad tank
If so try replacing them
Had a similar issue and took long time to figure that one out

Clean the clutches then test ride again. Might want to put it on stand and run the rpm up to 8000 and watch the clutches also. If it will rev up on a stand and fully shift the clutches under no load then you have clutch binding or sticking. Could be the belt too. If the motor won't spin up under no load then you have fuel issues.
