Want to replace the spark plug wires, but cat says they're apoxied in. Anyone have luck replacing them? Rec supply sells a splicer for them, but I don't really want to go that route. The wires are worn from rubbing on each other, and one cap concerns me cause twice it has pulled off on me. tension seems tight on the spark plug wire, so I don't think I can get away with cutting 1/2 inch off the end unless I can maybe move the coil a bit.

You can pull them out if you turn them. I put loom on my wires for that particular reason. No more problem.

Managed to fix the wires, but my problem still exist. At Full throttle, it would be like someone is burping the throttle, but this time the sled just died like it did last year on buddy. Now no spark. So far what I have found to fix were, two wires on one of the plugs for the ecu wore thru from rubbing on each other. The two wires going thru the brass fitting, into the fuel tank, had worn thru on the brass.
