M1000 cuts out for split second on throttle up, then runs fine

As above says. Starts fine. Runs fine. Just off the line, start moving the throttle, cuts out for a second, rpm drops, but immediately comes back and away you go. No cut out at any time after that. Runs fine.

more of an inconvenience (for now). Would hate to see it start doing that at operating rpms. thoughts?

so to bypass the TPS or TSS, just connect the wires? any problems(negatives) in doing this? thanks

For the TSS there is a little button switch that is closed when you push on the throttle. There is supposed to be a little looseness in the movement of the thumb throttle that allows the switch to be closed. If the computer does not see this switch closed while the ECU is seeing a request for fuel, the spark & or fuel will be denied. Something along those lines.

If you take the throttle housing apart and trace the wires from the switch you can undo the wire connector going to the ECU. This will confirm if it is the problem. I wouldn’t ride a sled with the TSS permanently bypassed.
