Correction;the 3 800's got the marked premium,the 2 600's got regular.So actually only one other sled with the same fuel. But the other one had no issues.
That's a possibility,but it ran for a couple hours prior to quitting,so, unlikely in my opinion. Fuel pickups are on bottom of tank so any water should be the first thing to go through.I would think a water issue would show up earlier. Also,there were 5 sleds in the trailer that all got fueled at the same time and only one with issues.

You say when you close the toss it will start but rev high.check and make sure you didn't pull the throttle cable out of the throttle block when you rolled the sled over.it only takes a little bit to make it act up.grab cable and make sure it is clicked in to the throttle block and that there is slight free play in the throttle flipper when it is in the idle position.the throttle body should make a slight clunking noise when you snap the throttle shut thus indicating that the throttle body is completely closed in idle position. Good luck.

I think you may have just figured it out ned. Throttle bodies are out but cables are still hooked up and they weren't closing 100% till I wiggled the cable.I'll put it all back together in the morning and test it.Might have been pinched or kinked a little where it goes through dash .

But that still wouldn't explain why it wouldn't stay running once we got it going,would it? Would probably make it hard to start though.

Smart valves in the tank collapsed when you flipped it over. Stick your hand in the tank and press on the smart valves from underneath to try and release them. It sounds as if you have a fuel problem and more then likely a lean fuel problem.

Take the fuel line off the throttle bodies and stick the hose in an empty water bottle, with it safely off to the side, take a 12v source and power the fuel pump from an auxiliary source. Ensure that the pump can full flow.

If you don’t have full flow the size of the inside diameter of the hose, then you need to play with the smart valves. With a separate clean hand that has no fuel on it disconnect your 12v from the fuel pump first before playing with the smart valves.

If you have full flow from the hose. Take your 12v source and with two leads, cycle your fuel injectors, disconnect the pig tails, and then lightly connect and disconnect the leads on the fuel injector terminals. You should hear an audible clicking noise.

Put it all back together and it runs fine. I'm thinking maybe ned was right.

18 winters at a cat dealer I have seen lots of things like this.A lot of time it is the simple things that cause issues.Glad to hear it's running for you.

The tps and tss need to remain synchronized or things kinda get weird like you just experienced.
The throttle cable is held in place by a small ball bearing type retainer with a notch cut out at the cable end.
Its easy for the throttle cable to become dislodge throwing the tss and tps out of sync. Always make sure your cable case end at the flipper is visually flush with the plastic housing holding it. If it’s not the cable is dislodged.

It was kinked somewhere or hung up in a zip tie.I'm sure we wiggled/moved it around on the hill but obviously not enough.O well,easy tow out of Morning Glory and it was home day anyway so we didn't really miss any riding.

Great you figured it out. I had the same symptoms when I swapped an engine and the throttle body cables were were being held open throug improper routing. Sensors don't match, shuts down. Safties.
