I just bought a 2007 F8 with the Suzuki 800 laydown twin.

Are these regarded as reliable motors?

Also , the sled only has 1500 miles on it and runs good, but motor sure seems to burn pretty dirty and make a lot of smoke. Are they known for this? I just replaced the plugs and they were pretty damn dirty, and haven't driven it since.

Thanks in advance for you input.

Legendary reliability bud. They do use their share of oil so smoke is the norm! Keep up on fresh plugs and have a great ride.
