Wife said I can get a new one.
Just not sure which one to get.
I like that purple M8000 and I like the Alpha as well.
Not sure what to do

I was looking at doing the same, my decision is based this way.
Get an 18 ascender, save some coin and install a sidekick.
Get an Alpha for more money and leave it N/A.
The wife will be riding it but on those day's she not riding i have a choice. Cat or Winder.

You should try and get some seat time on an Alpha. Will make the decision easier. In my opinion, the Alpha is the way to go for our riding. Go for the 165.

Yeah. Really not sure what to do.
Talking with Terry from T&T
See what prices I'm looking at.
Also I heard the 18s went with aluminum gears.
Can they be updated to steel?

Yes you can swamp them out easily.

That belt drive would be cool.
But I'm more interested in either an 18 or 19 M8000 or the Alpha. I guess depending on price.

And with my luck in recoils failing and ropes breaking electric start is finally high on my list of wants.

Just need to decide two rails or one.
Terry was saying no e-start on the Alphas so that may push me more towards the M8000.

My wants will be
Electric start
Tether
Scratchers
Trail can (nothing too loud)

I'm expecting 10-15 hp more than current C-TEC 2. As cool as turbo is I doubt this is the year factory turbo becomes an option, but I wouldn't mind being wrong on this one lol!

The Alpha is super fun. If your the guy that loves doing cool technical riding get the Alpha. If your more laidback take it all in rider get the twin rail. Why buy a Ferrari if you don’t want to go fast?
