so Im rebuilding the 03 with carbs and have a few questions. First ill start off with what mods I have v force 3 reeds, single slp pipe with rumble pack, speedwerx domed heads, the air box is opened up a little, and a 9 tower clutch that needs new weights and springs. My first question is there anything I should do to the bottom end like crank wise? (I plan on doing crank and rod bearings) Also what weights and springs should I get as well as gearing? I do far amount of washboard trail ridding to get to the mountain were if it snows like it should its steep and deep. Unfortunately we only had one weekend of 4 foot of powder but never the less steep. I do really race and don't care to do 100 or even 80 mph just want to go up up and away. I haven't gotten any pistons yet but plain on goin wisco unless someone conveniences me other wise. (heard of wisco coming apart from lack of warm up not really to worried I always warm my sled up always) If anyone has any tips trick or advice on the build im all ears I just want to do it right and keep it right.

Check your bulkhead for cracks while your in there. A few locations like to crack. On PTO side right where the it goes up towards the motor mounts front and back. I have put on a third motor mount on the front

I had a 2001 mountain cat 800. With a bunch of goodies on it. I think I have pictures from the reinforcements done. It's basically just Weldon the crack. Then putting a thicker piece on top and welding it to the existing. And I will see if I have a motor mount picture as well. I sold the sled a while ago.
