Travel Cover Clips

Has anyone come across replacement clips for the new style travel covers for the Alpha? I'm talking about the plastic clips that clip to the running boards. I busted one the other day and am hoping they are able to be purchased somewhere.

They look like this. My dealer was able to get then for me, as well as the straps.

I know why it broke I pulled too hard sideways.

Mine didn’t break, they removed themselves from the strap after being taken off the sled.

Ahh. I put some RTV on that point to help keep them on.

In my case I busted the part that slides in the cover, so the clamp was no longer attached to the cover.

Dealer has to call in as there isn't a part number for the clips yet.

Different for the mountain cat and the hardcore as the boards are different.

Ya, yours are different. That's a mountain cat? Dealer has some for me for my hardcore anyway. I got a couple extras just in case.

Cable ties work in a pinch though

I haven't taken a close look at the difference.

I'm thinking about different running boards, but I'm worried my cover won't fit anymore and Maxwell will judge me.

Damn I've been having cover envy over the Cat tarp but now I'm kinda glad I'm ghettoing it with my old Doo tarp.

Don’t suppose you have a receipt with the cat p/n on it do you? Mine is a hardcore cover also. And I need 2.

Called 2 dealers today. Neither one was any help in locating these clips.

This cover might just have to go under the knife and modified to delete the stupid things or at least permanently affix one on each side like the older doo covers.
