Haven't seen this issue yet. Out of curiosity, have you run it down the trail locked out? I caught myself doing that a couple times now simply turning it up to 3 like i do the fronts for the trail.

I've seen a similar picture. It's from ice buildup in that space while suspension is mostly compressed and then it tops out hard enough and that gives way.

I had the whole top section break off on my 19' alpha, replaced under warranty.

The piece of black plastic is to keep the track guides from catching on the scissor itself. My new replacement has marks from the track hitting it with less then 400 miles on it since dealer installed.

100 miles on this machine. Stock sled. Waiting on warranty reply. Seems to be from over extension.

Broke mine today and at the same time snapped the bolt on the other side. As an added bonus I snapped the POS screw extractor that I paid way too much for. So not sure what I'm going to do now. Gonna end up renting a doo while my brand now cat sits in the trailer. I'll have a couple drinks and see what the old brain comes up with.

I had the bolt mostly drilled out but now the easy out is broken inside and I can't drill that thing out for the life of me.
