If these are all factory sleds that are not modified I would take to the dealer rather than drilling and changing things. It looks like a common wear issue that is most likely already known my the manufacturer, if not is should be and they would look after it.
You would think so Ron. As of yet, I have gotten no response from Arctic Cat in 4 weeks. I have already revalved the center shock, and put ten days of riding on it in that time, and my contract issue appears to be gone. I'm not sure what to expect from Cat at this point. Probably nothing.

So far I have not had an issue with warranty claims.
That being said this is year two with the clearance issue.
I have not modified anything on the rail except for putting in the T bolt.
Have not heard of anyone denied a rail warranty yet.

Mine still moves side to side with the bolt. I’m thinking delete and zip tie.
The zip tie may work just fine, another idea I had was to use a smooth headed pin and use a cotter pin or small hair pin. I have some plastic that will also work just have to machine it to size. I am still looking around as most likely the part i want is already been made i just have to find out where it's being used.

As the geometry of all parts is the same I would say yes.
Likely why the limiter strap is used as the bump stop.
The rework on my shock was to stop bottoming except in extreme hits.

Would this not be the same as bump stops on a twin rail that makes contact when a bottom out condition occurs?

Why isn’t there a bump stop mounted on that section of the rail???

Thats some heavy wear in that area.

mine has bump stops, so when I bottom out it doesn't wreck anything.

I think Cat should have made a rubber dampener rather than a hard limiter strap. Little extra air pressure and correct valving works also. Took them 9 years to perfect the chassis give them a few more to get the skid perfect.

That is what I meant, there needs to be a bump stop on the monorail.
Not sure where best location is but if the rails are cracking up front where there is contact then that is likely not the best spot. Or factory reinforce that section of rail.

my shock has bump stop built in. maybe a bigger bump stop on the shock for the coil over guys, or maybe a guy could glue a heavy duty piece of rubber to the rail where it makes contact.
