So picking up my new Hardcore 165” next week and was wondering what the must haves/improvements are for this machine as per those that have been on them for a year or two.

I only got a cover, belt and oil with it so far.
I want to get a can for sure and from what I have read some tunnel stiffening is needed.

Am I missing anything else that I should be looking into getting?

I would check out a rear stiffner. A buddy of mine bent his tunnel on his 18 Alpha by 3 guys lifting it when it was stuck.

You may want a gas can and tunnel bag, if so tunnel stiffener is a good idea - gas can next to seat.
I also put on a clutch kit as the 19 was sotftish off of the line, rips now.
After that I suggest just riding it for a while.

I also put on a can, belt drive and oil delete, front bumper, full skid plate and cat boards.
There are pics in the 2019 Alpha section page 10ish.

Boards, front bumper, rear bumper, y-pipe , can and clutching and your good to go blow the doors off any other 2020 sled produced.

Change Primary clutch, secondary clutch, jack shaft, Can, belt drive, track, drivers, suspension, carbon fibre rear tunnel piece, slp powder pro skis, handlebars, grips, vents, ceramic coat exhaust, klotz oil, pyrometers, and some other secrets. Bahahahaha you nutbar kanedog!

You're on the right track kanedog. I'm seeing a trend with all these posts....The Alpha seems like it hardly needs anything. Oh ya...don't forget to dump a tube of silicone in and around the air box to make sure it's sealed properly before riding! My cat tip of the day!

What is this airbox silicone required deal you speak of?

Thanks folks.
I’ve got Mountain Addiction rails I never used so was going to buy the combo gas can/bag setup so I probably should install something stiffenerish. Was watching a couple videos of guys installing boards and bumpers and the tunnels look pretty flimsy compared to what I’m used to (Doo).

CR stuff seems ok. Anyone know what the difference is between the Gen 1 and Gen 2 rear bumpers are? I see they have the Gen 1’s on sale.

I’m going to ride it first before I decide if I need boards.

Dealer was trying to sell me an MBRP can. Not sure how they compare to others out there. My experience with them has been so-so.
