McGillivray is also located north of Highway 3 and is also an excellent access point for the trails including the McGillivray Creek trail where the quad squad recently installed 3 new bridges. There are also trails to the east (repeater / lookout), and west (to Atlas). All of these trails begin at a novice level and then after about 5 km you'll encounter a somewhat steep hill. To find McGillivray, travel west through Coleman until you see some winter highway closure gates and a sign that says "McGillivray Youth Camp". Turn north and wind your way through the end of Coleman, then travel about 6 km down a gravel road across 2 or 3 cattleguards. When you come to a huge powerline and a sign that says "Forest Reserve Boundary", you've arrived. These directions are from the quad squad site
