I honestly don't know. I haven't seen the pit yet but Bill Ford has. I suspect it will start off around 18 inches and have a couple deeper spots and a jump.

Even though this will not be a CCMR event, they will be using the CMR rule book and race classes. That means we will have a women's class and two youth classes! Should be a blast if we get entries in those classes!!!

Wow! Quad Wars 2.0 was a total blast!! Considering this was the first test of the new oval pit, it was a huge improvement over the old pit. We did have a couple soft spots and a bit of a design flaw that ended up flooding the finish area so that it got way too deep. We'll have to bring in some clay and make a few modifications for next year, but we're definitely on the right "track" (pardon the pun). Overall, it was a very enjoyable day for both riders and spectators.

We'd like to thank the Darwell Ag Society for hosting the event again this year, building the new track, and kicking in plaques and prize money. A special thanks also goes out to Bill Ford and the lovely April from CCMR for being our race masters and taking care of registration, the Lac Ste Anne ATV Club (Cameron Beaulieu and Kevin McCoy in particular) for prepping the grounds and cleaning up afterwards, Ecko Marine for their generous sponsorship, and H&P Kistik Construction for building the new mud pit.
