I dont think the hills were much or a problem but the revine was tricky.

I know if you head west on the Sunpine road towards the Meadows Cabin, just east of the Ram river, there are signs on trails not allowing motorised vehicles. Also clear cut logged also.

I didn't even know there are Falls there. We just rode there for a day. Made it in top of the mountain where the old fire watch tower was.

Used to ride this area a lot probably 10 years ago we used to camp just after the pavement before the Sunpine Rd across the road from the old fire lookout. Went to the falls many times but used to go from the Sunpine Rd and cross the creek many times to get there all closed now followed that trail past the falls a couple of times and it does get into some steap climbs could be tough if the trail is wet but can't remember how to get out there going the other way it's been a long time as we stopped going there when they started closing all the trails. I guess that will be the future for all trails near the mountains especially if the NDP win another election. I feel sorry for the young riders that will never get to ride in these areas.

most/many of the trails at baseline are maintained by the Baseline DH mountain bike club out of rocky mtn. they are all marked and single track skinny, but If your up there please keep off the skinny trails. there is a core group that spend hundreds of hours a year building, sculpting features that will get blown out by a quad in an instant. the Prairie creek offroadrecarea is right there and good for machines.

I am also trying to find a new spot to check out camping. Always did the rig street and burntstick, but never went further west to the tuck road. Anyone know any good places for quading and just in general to bring my family too?
