Been away in the US for a week but I see guys have been riding on the Sturgeon. I was tossing around the idea of riding it on Saturday. Anyone here been on it yet? Just wondering if they have come across open water or if it has been good.

My previous +15 years of riding the river, we would never go down it. Before the first weekend of December and never had an issue. Other than beaver dams or someone new pumping out in the river.

Know it not the same river,
But looks like someone fell through the medicine river, where it crosses hwy 54. This happened last week.
Can still see the quad tracks all around the new ice.

Couple machines went down on the Alberta Beach trail on the way to lessard lake this weekend. In front of a Beaver house. Anyone who doesn't already know this you should Always avoid a beaver house by 30'. It was 8' deep. Took us 4 hrs to remove a rzr and a rincon. They spent the night under water

Ok thanks for the responses. I think I'll hold off. The spot is was going to stage at us just east of Hwy 28 and go east.
