This might have been posted already. Couldn't find anything when I searched.

I'm looking for info on the Edson Rally.
I believe the date is Sept 24th?
Where do we stage?
Do you need a 4x4 truck for the staging area?
Cost to enter?
Is there pre-registration or register when we stage?
Time of event. Finish to end.?

Anything else I should know?
I'm newer to ATVing and have never riden Edson nor any ATV rallies.

Thanks in advance.

Perfect. Thank you.
I'm thinking it's probably easier and better to register the night before.
Itching to go.

What kind of trails are these?
Fairly easy or more advanced?

We try to register the night before usually. It's not too technical although with all the rain this year there will likely be some deep holes. We're going to camp out at the gravel pit this year I believe.

I'll be looking motel it.
Be nice to shower up after all my stucks then. Lol.
Are there signs off the highway for this? Or do you pretty much need to know where you are going?
I'll try and Google map it sometime this week.

A hot shower after is a necessity lol. Especially if it's cold. There is a couple signs on the highway coming from Edson if I remember correctly. Once you turn off just keep driving in until you see the staging area. Can't miss it.

It is a gravel road to the staging area. It was easy to find last year. We did have to turn around on the road though. Last year was pretty muddy and I am thinking it will be really muddy this year as well.

Sounds like I should use the 1ton and not the 65. The 1ton is 4x4. The 65 don't like soft roads.
Thanks Keith.

Are you going this year?

Id bring the 1 ton over the other truck. Never know what the conditions will be like. I doubt you'd have any trouble with the other truck but better off on the safe side. Im not sure if Im going yet. Will depend on the weather I think. I am getting a little bored of rally's. There are some that are a must but I get sick of waiting 45 minutes for 30 people to cross a little mud hole. If a person is actually cruising through the trails then fine but so many times it gets backed up big time unless we are the first ones out.

People may get PO'd with me, i make some dumb mistakes and get stuck in some dumb places. Always a good idea with bad results. lol

A lot will depend on the weather from now till then. If it drys out a bit , that would help .... But it has been crazy wet as of late !
