Alberta Beach Snowmobile Club Wes is the main groomer operator(in picture) He spends 100's of hrs. each year cleaning trail, repairing groomer and grooming. This Groomer is 14' wide at blade with a total length about 35'. Try turning this puppy around on the trail. Top speed is 12km(average speed . 6 way blade with 2 wings and used 220 liters of fuel today. Seen 20 sleds on the trail and most did not have trail passes. Hay guys this is a team effort anti up and buy trail passes. There has been a 100 volunteer man hr's put into grooming this year(not counting all the preseason work) and the season has just started. Still can not groom lake as ice not at 18". Lake still has flood water so stay close to the posts and don't stop. Enjoy the great snow we have.

Just a quick note as well:

As of January 3, 2014:

Stanger Hills staging area has not been plowed recently. Require a 4X4 to get around. You can park on the road going in which is OK. Will be tight turning around with a trailer but can be done.
