Headed up to AK this past weekend to get a taste of some of the sledding. Headed out to Lost Lake outside of Seward and ran into some insane snow. Here's one pic, I will upload the rest later.

So much snow we were getting stuck downhill. So fun! :)

Making it look good like always since Dec 2009. Life must be rough, ride, fix, ride, work, ride, ride, ride.

haha yeah I've been pretty lucky with riding. Although this past season was my worst since I started riding. Hardly got out at all. I'll be heading to Jackson Hole and Montana next season! :D

Well what do you expect Rowdy? You appear to be riding a Cat now. Lol.[/QUOTE]

yeah an M7 was my ride for the weekend. Great time, and it actually rode pretty good, I was surprised that the 700 was going all the places the turbo was. The snow was crazy heavy I got pulled off my sled a couple times carving because the snow just grabbed me.

I actually flew up and borrowed a friend of a friends sled. But from people I know up there that have driven in the winter 31-36hrs is the fastest I have heard it being traveled to Valdez. It's approx 40hrs to Anchorage.

Alright back at a computer that works here are a few more pics. Didn't take that many because it was whiteout first day and fairly overcast the 2nd.

Downhill stuck first day. The snow was insanely heavy.

Damn, late to the party again! Glad to see you were able to make it up here Rowdy, it looks like you had a lot of fun. LL is one of my favorite places to ride but it can be a pia getting up there when the trail is iced up. You got to let us know next time you come up, we can ride out to Petersville and you won't have to sleep in an enclosed trailer! Cheers!

haha and I never check this section either. I'll keep that in mind for sure. I want to get up there for a longer trip and hopefully drive up so I can have my sled and ride it the way I want instead of worrying about busting someone else chit.

Hope your summer is going alright!
