Snow is quickly working it's way down the mountains, if the temps and weather stays and it doesn't warm up we'll be riding by the end of October!

I usually ride with my wife and friends on the weekends but I'm sure they wouldn't mind if you wanted to come along. We usually ride Petersville since there is so much terrain out that way that offers something for every rider. When I ride without the wife I like to go to Lost Lake, Turnagain, 20 Mile River, Hatcher Pass, Cantwell, Eureka, and Johnson Pass.

Hi all!

I'm tossing around the idea of heading up to Alaska to sled and snowboard for a week or so with the family; where would be the best place to do it all? I'm more familiar with Western Canada/US as most of our riding has been in the Revelstoke/Fernie/Cooke City areas. A good outfitter for backcountry snowmobiling and/or boarding/skiing would be a huge plus! Thanks in advance for any input!

I'm itchin to get riding!

For riding and snowboarding, i'd probably take a look at Valdez, that place gets dumped on seems like every year. You can also go to the Backcountry Rebels website and go to the Alaska section and ask, lots of knowledgeable people there.
