Not to be a critic or anything. I'm sure its going to be a great sled for you. Just an observation for the first time I look at these, but those factory running boards looks like the ones off my ,93 Mach 1. I can now understand why guys are cutting those off and going with aftermarket. IMO one should not have to resort to a mod like this on a MY 2020 sled while on the Doo's and Poo's a small pet could fall through them...just saying

Get your eyes fixed and hang out at your beloved doo section.
You embare ass yourself.
93 two ton mach .5 lmao

Do your build Turblue.
Just like last year some people are afraid of the Alpha's abilities and potential.
Lots of believers out there.

I thought the same as you when I built my Sidewinder...so changed the boards before really riding. Had a 18 cat last year and decided just to ride stock ...surprisingly they stay pretty clean, no heat from the tunnel so you don’t get the ice build up like the other 2.

Kanedog 2015-2019, thanks for the good times S&M!
Going to make a bracket and mount this axys belt holder here....should be lots of room with the ggb quiet can I’m going with...can’t stand the loud cans.

great idear about the placement of belt holder and pluggage. It is a small factor but it will help offset the weight loss a hair from the factory can. The motor is offset to left and counterbalanced by the tank being larger on the right side. When the fuel gets lower, it may not balance as well. Love your mods that are built for your likes.

One could carve to the left like nobody's business though!

Looks good! So no new holes needed for the Polaris flap I assume?

Well last year I used the upper portion which needed new holes , I just used the lower portion of what I had left so no new holes.....liked that better. Basically just trimmed it off below the Polaris word and trimmed the upper corners. It’s not flat but when you rivet it on it lays flat. Also leaving the stock like for now so had to trim for that bracket. Easy.
