How accurate are the KW ratings on VIN sticker?

Looking at vin stickers on sleds and the 18 shows 104 engine kw, the 15 Suzuki says 113 kw. That’s quite a difference if u use the kw-hp converter. Must have received a weaker 18 dam. ha.

I noticed that as well, both my 18’s are 104 kw rated

The old suzuki motor felt like it pulled harder to me, but who knows :confused:

I said the same thing, my 14 pulled way harder at the top of the power band, WOT it screamed much better, other than that the ctec destroys it

Oh for sure the old Susi's mapping wasn't great, gurgled and popped in the mid range, but screamed up top though.

The Ctec runs smooth like an Etec.

Had a '13 and a '16, buddy of mine had a '15. All 3 sleds had different KW ratings. My '16 was less than the '13. I don't put much thought into them numbers
