What is everyone doing and why?

From what I’ve researched a Y-Pipe & Can is not only 4-5 hp increase it’s a 12lbs savings!! (This is SSI product)

Also I see BDX offers a lightweight fuel tank & is 12lbs lighter...

Looking forward to everyone’s feedback.

Cheers

I imagine belt drive and plastic oil res would be a decent weight savings. Jumping on one of these last year I can say that engine was already very strong

On Dynotech a Quebec company got very impressive gains in HP just from a ECM tune on an 18. They will be offering this service but there is nothing on their website last l checked. It would be nice to see a dyno run on a broke in 19 to see if Cat improved on the 152hp of the in season 18's. Early release 18's were 160hp. Same as this shop gets with timing and fuel changes.

That was Precision EFI. Sebastien is a whiz. 10HP gain from the reflash. Working all the bugs out and clutching now with ol Billy Howard. This is a pump gas tune as well.

This is great news!!! I spoke with Sebastian about 45 days ago regarding this but didn’t alude to findings at that point. PEFI has some phenomenal tech going with the Sidewinder 998 as well.

This with this ECU Tune, Y pipe & can with Belt drive and LW Gas Tank this could be a killer combo!!

I saw the write up on Dynotech and it looks like Precision EFI has an excellent flash. The stock AFR numbers are a bit scary... 14.03/1. While the flash makes 8HP more and 6 tq more all at a safer 13.64/1 AFR. More power and a safer AFR... Looks like money well spent. The high AFR is most likely due to meeting emissions standards.

The light weight BDX gas tank does not work with the stock seat. you would need to purchase the seat/ tank combo. The Tank also holds more fuel.

Yes they have a lot of great stuff for the winder. My 1100T worked great. Wait to yas see what they accomplished with the Doo 900 turbo. Sebastien is very smart with electronics/efi. Great guy to deal with as well.

The value of this tune for 19 riders will depend on what Cat did for this year. Precision needs to set up a couple reflash centres in the west.

All Go Customs (Gene) will be doing PEFI very soon as EVO is using PEFI...

It's highly probable I'm going too.. but really wanted to research non turbo options as this is my first AC sled and there is a lot of people that know better than I on this motor.

Once again in english lol

A guy that owns All Go Customs in Lloyd is Western or Canada’s distributor for EVO. As of late EVO has either postponed or shelved ECU Mapping for Sleds for whatever reason. Therefore I’m told they have aligned themselves with Prescion EFI from Quebec who are or becoming very wise with ECU Tuning for snowmobiles ... either it be 2 or 4 toke!!! As of late they have woken up the new Ski-doo 4 toke... not to take post off topic. I hope this helps as sometimes my post are lacking info.

Therefore All Go Customs will be doing PEFI Tunes (I’m 90% sure) and Gene is good guy!!
