Yes it is. My personnal opinion.. I like my brake mechanically attached to the drive of the track and not through the chaincase or belt drive. I witnessed the aftermath of a poo pro braking his belt ( as rare as it is) navigating a steep downhill through the trees. Rider bailed due to not being able to scrub any speed. Sled was heavily damaged once it tagged a nice pine that didn't give.

nope still arctic cat, Textron is only there summer stuff like sxs and atvs arctic cat is still winter

Thats true, the part that it's pretty rare. I've seen more people wreck sleds do to their own dooing though... so i'm not sure the Id say braking through a chain/belt is bad thing, or even worth worrying about.

Looks like they aren't the only ones cooking up some new patents, good old polaris has a snow bike patent that looks pretty interesting.

Textron owns arctic cat and decided to keep the name. It’s Textron, even the sign in TRF says Textron.

Essentially that is correct, it’s like an Acura...... at the end of the day it’s still a Honda, just fancier
