I know I'm going to get the " Alpha's don't get stuck " answer but I'm wondering when they do get stuck are you guys finding easier to roll over that the dual rail sleds with less snow in the skid?

Ya about 50# easier.
Plus the amount of track roll let's it a bit easier.
Every deep burial has its own challenges.

Not going to boost my Alpha. Will be leaving the engine stock but planning on dropping 40+ lbs. Alpha Omega....details coming...

Only thing I did was can, belt drive and boards and front bumper. Last two were not weight savers.
Glad you're likeing the new ride.
Post pics as you shave weight.

I was working on Carbon Sled to build a carbon fiber beam for the mono, not sure if they ever did follow through or not.

Wonder what that beam weighs and what a carbon one would weigh?

Call Nextech - they should be working on a cf rail by now.
This is a full carbon tip to tail build at 350# no gas in tank.
Has a 230hp turbo 800 in it.
If you gonna go carbon go all carbon!

Monorail is already light, carbon will maybe be a couple pounds lighter.

Will post a pic tomorrow afternoon when it’s in the trailer. Going to be a cool build. Not sure what I’ll do with the turbo pro, not going to give it away, might keep it to spank sidewinders. lol.

Nice !!!!! I just felt Stacy's panties get all bunched up lmfao.

Tried my sons 154 and I’m on the 850 G4 Freeride 2018. My comments for the Alpha and i’m not brand bashing.
Power is linear and power is definitely there and gets stronger from mis to upper and holds and pulls.
The steering is absolutely brutal as well as suspension.
Tippy but manageable, I can see a few flops until a few rides.
Pretty easy to ride but not my style. I like the bottom to mid range on the 850 and rarely hit WOT for extended periods as we live in the trees mostly.

Son is happy with his Alpha and that is all that matters. Happy sledding.

What was he running for psi in his shocks?
First time I hoped off my doo onto my new cat I wanted to burn it to the ground.
Just was set up too stiff.

He is nearly 50lbs heavier than me so it’s not set up for me. He has likely way more psi in front shocks on skid and skis
