There must be more king cat owners on here to talk with about setup and mods for these beasts. I pick up this one on Thursday and heading to mcbride for five days of testing. I got a arctic cat sport front bumper, some rox riser blocks that move the bars up and forward 1.5 inches because they seemed to low at the dealer and a jaws can. I am wondering what everyone else is doing

Read anything on the Side Winder, it all applies to your King Cat. Have fun.

Very impressed with the King Cat I put 370km on it in the first time out.dips like a 2 stroke rips like a turbo 4 stroke no regrets on this thing she’s a head turner. Pics of the riser witch feels pretty good going to leave on for another ride. The bumper looks great and ads protection but seems to hold a lot of snow even when got home to shop had a big ice snow buildup. I didn’t get any pics of the exhaust but it sounds and looks amazing,I will get a pic soon. Getting some mountain addiction rails put on one with a 12 litres big can and one with the five litres can and half bag as this sled is a very thirsty beast. The half bag will go nicely with the new handle bar bag to give some added storage. Also noticed I am hungrier throwing the king around so a muff pot is going on. Some knee pads and orange snow flap will finish off this round of upgrades but I am thinking that the rear lockout shock might be in my future. Any use this shock yet ??

Well it certainly is a good looking machine, that's for sure. Nice colours.

I have a an 18 King with under hood intake and cr racing can,I only put 400 kms on it as I bought it late in the season. It's an awesome sled, they are getting closer to a 2 stroke as far as rideability if you are 200 lbs plus [which I am].Really don't like the placement of the intercooler as it becomes a block of ice,my 1100 and Viper had a far better location.I may relocate it if I have time. Also wondering about a good front bumper.Boost rocks

I’d be interested to see what you have in mind with moving the intercooler I was thinking about some sort of screen my friend has a screen on his 1100. My bumper seems to make it worse It’s arctic cat bumper I would look at a different options. It doesn’t get hot but it’s probably 30lbs of ice and snow some times

Gene from All Go Customs makes an intercooler grill so I am going to try that first. He is very knowledgeable and a great guy to deal with.He helped me out tremendously in the past when I had my M1100t.He is also getting setup for the Precision efi ecu reflash so I am going to have mine reflashed prolly get the guage reflash as well.

I ran Gene's intercooler guard for a bunch of last season and it works really well. Gene is a great guy to deal with.
