So what's everyone got for km's on their ascender belts?

I have 981km on mine, figured I should pull it off and check it.

Measured it against the spare, no measureable wear.

Gonna throw the spare on just to break it in.

PS, deflection has been good.
No adjustments anyway.

Big fins on both side of secondary.
Fins on the backside of primary.

650 on the demo sled lots of tree riding, still looks brand new. I was a little skeptical with how tight these clutches run the belt.

2016 with 18 clutch upgrade, 450miles on belt, no measurable wear on a 187hp 162 3” sled. This was great upgrade, would do it again absolutely

But I do have a horrible howl in loaded up reversing

Well I’ve never done that. But in deep snow or stuck, if I try to use reverse it moves, but belt howls like the secondary doesn’t lock up
Ah, I hear yeah.
I can't say I have ever tried reverse when stuck, is there a trick to it?
Or am I over here rolling sleds like a sucker?

No trick. Lighter sled with a 3” there aren’t many stucks in a day anymore. But sometimes if I fall off, or stop in a goofy spot, a slight reverse, rock sled side to side and hammer the throttle, she climbs right up and gone

In the 450 Miles this year I think I’ve only rolled sled 3 times with a half
dozen ski pulls, 2 tree wells. I’m no better a rider, the new sleds are that much easier to ride

I do that alot as well, works like a charm, have 650 km on mine so far, belt looks new, i find way less belt dust than my 14 m8 with a 3” and speedwerx setup, that howl though sometimes, hard to get used to

It is surprising what kind of holes these will crawl out of because of the low engagement.

Put one or two guys on ski tugs and slowly walk sled out.

Does anyone know of a 2018 cat that has had a belt fail? I seriously haven't heard of a single one. I'm 13 belts deep this season and honestly thinking about making the switch just because of belt life. Does anyone want to buy my Polaris primary clutch puller?

After last weekend of super deep and mostly WOT, I have 650 miles on my 18 clutch and belt. Still no measurable difference

A friend popped one at 500 miles. He rides the bag off that thing, so i'd say things are looking pretty good as far as belt life is concerned.
