No trick. Lighter sled with a 3” there aren’t many stucks in a day anymore. But sometimes if I fall off, or stop in a goofy spot, a slight reverse, rock sled side to side and hammer the throttle, she climbs right up and gone

In the 450 Miles this year I think I’ve only rolled sled 3 times with a half
dozen ski pulls, 2 tree wells. I’m no better a rider, the new sleds are that much easier to ride

reverse beside a stuck buddy is a great way to get the snow outta the way, not always the best choice but beats shovel’in.

2016 with 18 clutch upgrade, 450miles on belt, no measurable wear on a 187hp 162 3” sled. This was great upgrade, would do it again absolutely

But I do have a horrible howl in loaded up reversing
Is that upgrade both complete clutches?
Could I do that to a 2014?
I love the Alpha setup and I'm trying to figure out how to get my 14 as similar as possible.

I’m looking into a leftover 2018 MC and threads like this just solidify my decision to stick with a cat. I know I don’t need to spend a bunch of money making the clutching on a new sled work. Doolaid drinkers must hate seeing threads like this.

I don’t drink the “Doolaid” per say, but I’ve always ridden them. Been thinking about a change in the future, just to try something different. Threads like this one offer a little reassurance to guys like me who really know nothing about Cats.

Going to blue river this weekend with a couple G4 850’s and a 15 T3. I can’t wait to see how mine compares.

Not possible and not worth the $$ in my opinion. Save for a bit and upgrade with newer when possible.

Check our Racin Station he has what your looking for. On the 16 and 17 you need the primary only on the 15 and earlier you will need both clutches.
